I sat there for the Saints v Wire cup final, not sure if you remember that one?
I loved it, better seat (with a drink holder) and the concourse were better standard, better organised and less cramped.
I'd choose it every time.
I sat there for the Wire/Saints CCF it was a cracking spec.

The Wire/Saints match attendance was down around 1,700 on the previous season. Thursday’s don’t help, along with Saints not being very entertaining to watch. Then the fixture planning didn’t work out very well either with both sides meeting each other (H) (A) in the first 9 rounds.

Mark Hughes couldn’t save Carlisle Utd. I was wondering if anyone knows, has Hughes been in charge of other clubs that have gone down ?.

I was dragged along to church most Sundays when i was young schoolboy, but that stopped when i started work
The only time i enjoyed it was when we would get a day of holy obligation off school. That and having to go to church once in a blue moon during a school morning, then i wanted the mass to last forever. As it beat being smacked around my head and the teacher screaming (while also spitting) in my face because i was dreadful at maths. Some of those catholic teachers whom believed in god were as bloody crazy as Jim Jones.

Sizeable away following too. Doesn’t seem long since that game would have had 12k in.
I was at the game (worse luck) i know a few people who stayed away. Not just because Saints are garbage but also because meeting Wire for the tenth time in eight days was a bit of an overkill.
It got a bit heated between some Saints fans who were in the Wello in Vs Wello Out camp.
It was a nice evening to watch RL, and not as crowded as usual.-

My 2 sisters will be devestated by this news as both are good Catholics and go to church most Sundays
My Ma & Pa were catholics, i would have classed them as loyal supporters, season ticket holders, sponsors. They would go to church every Sunday, rosary Monday, when they retired they then went to church every morning at 8am. I think it was because my grandparents were staunch church goers.
I couldn’t get into it, it was horrible as id be out on the field playing football with my mates, then dad would come over to get me & my brother as we had church. I used to sulk a load.
I wanted to be a Protestant when i was small because i thought they didn’t have to go to church.-

I have got my ticket for tomorrow, i should feel confident with Wire having no Williams. But i expect Mr Honest Conversations to carry on playing players out of position, with the dreadful Mbye at 9. Then he will put Clark on when it is too late. Wire by 2.

Are Carlisle Utd going to do another great escape Jimmy Glass moment and avoid the drop.

The whimsy of a dog on the pitch. The brutality of the Westfjords weather.
Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch.

A lot of fans also believed the addition of Lee Briers would give Saints some good old fashioned flair in their attack.
I didn’t see our two tries on Friday Irish not because i was in the concourse, i just couldn’t be arsed standing up like the other fans going wild. If Saints go behind by ten points under the current fella in charge there is no way back. I was thinking what id have from the Chinese chippy as i decided id treat myself. That was the highlight of the day.

The Salford fans were magnificent yesterday.

Some of the Wigan fans’ chanting / singing is great but the one you refer to spoils it. It’s totally unnecessary.
It was a cracking atmosphere, but some of the Saints fans who sing a song aimed at Wigan is embarrassing.

Sadly I'm more inclined to go with what the two blokes on Redvee TV said after the game.
Wigan didn't have to get out of THIRD gear
We are a zillion miles away from Wigan, HKR, it won’t improve with wellens as head coach. Last season a lot of fans were saying “it was Frayssinous fault” whose fault is it now for them ?.

Fans throwing ale over other fans, what is that all about. I’d suppose they would never be caught on cctv doing such a thing, i don’t even know if cctv cameras are switched on at RL games with it being a family friendly sport.

Did Wigan get out of second gear !! It feels as if they could have stepped up and scored more points. The Wigan tries had myself applauding much to the ire of some blitzed Saints fans. I don’t know what wellens has said but i am sure he is proud of the effort, honest conversations will be had during the week. He (Wellens) hasn’t got a clue tactically, why he had Clark on the bench and only put him on with 25mins left is baffling. Mbye, Whitley, Bennison, are a waste of a shirt. As for Batchelor he is done for, the only thing he contributes is handling errors and penalties for the opposition. He is a hobbling donkey on his last leg who should be heading for the glue factory.

Don't the Saints fans get an entire stand to themselves? So hopefully no need to lose any seats, for the sake of segregation.
They do and sometimes they would give us a block of seats on the side. It is horrible that segregation is needed but if it is for safety then so be it,

What is the capacity for the Wigan/Saints match, would it be the same capacity as a wigan athletic game if they were playing a top PL side ?.

Not entirely sure what to make of Saints this year. At times they look great, but they have come up short every time they've played a good team and I wonder if there's a bit of flat track bully about them. I expect they will raise their game against Wigan, but all things being equal Wigan look like much the better side. I'll go for Wigan by 12.
We are dull & predictable MZH, in some matches it has looked as if we have changed our usual plan and played quite expansive RL. But then Wellens has panicked and told the side to go back to the mind numbingly dull bore ball. But tomorrow that may be the best option for us.

I have just watched the highlights of Boreham Wood vs Dorking “NLS Play Off”, it was a thriller. Wood were down 1-3 with around 6mins too go but came back and won 4-3.
