I have to cut the daughter’s front/back garden on Saturday, along with a bit of child minding before the game. I have told her if they’re not home 20mins before ko my two little granddaughters will be on their own.
A HKR win by two scores, I hope it’s a thriller. I wonder how many times it will be mentioned on the BBC that RL is a family game.-

We’ve been asked to play a gig at a local union club, it’s a fundraiser for their junior section.
One of my band mates is flatly refusing to do it, “it’s like doing a benefit for the tories or reform” he says
Now there’s not many dislikes union more than me but I just love playing
Thoughts folks?
I think your mate is right.

Wire by 16. If Saints are playing either Whitley or Davies in the centres we (saints) will be in a spot of bother.
Giving Hurrell a one year extension and not strengthening the centre position was bloody crazy. -

Another email from the club:
Saturday’s Betfred Challenge Cup Hull Derby will be see the biggest Quarter-Final attendance in the competition since 1989, and will be the club’s biggest home cup attendance since 1961!
With over 18,000 tickets now sold for the match, the unmissable clash between the Black & Whites and the Robins will be the most well-attended game at this stage of the competition for some 36 years, while also being the club’s biggest home cup crowd in 64 years.
The match will also see the biggest attendance at a standalone Betfred Challenge Cup fixture, outside of finals, since 2009.
Fewer than 300 tickets now remain across the lower bowl of the MKM Stadium, with the only remaining grouped tickets being available in unreserved sections of the South Stand, although very limited, and West Stand blocks W11 and W12.
Seats remain available in the West Stand Upper section of the ground, with over 1,000 tickets sold.
Tickets remain on sale to all supporters – a reminder that tickets will go off sale at 4.00pm on Friday 4th April, with no match day ticket sales available.
The Challenge Cup Quarter-Final meeting between two of sports fiercest rivals is just days away, with Hull FC welcoming the Robins to the MKM Stadium on Saturday 5th April (2.30pm kick-off).
The match, which will be broadcast live on BBC One, will be the first meeting of the two sides in the competition since 1986, will be the biggest Hull Derby clash in forty years.---------
Alright, I was maybe being a bit optimistic when I was saying the other day about 21,000 odd being there seen as the club are saying over 18,000 but even so, those first couple of paragraphs are very impressive!
A great payday for both clubs, and hopefully for the pubs of Hull.

I’d like to know why the music has to be booming at games, it is headache inducing.

I think the Catalans/Saints gate was down over a 1,000 on last season. I suppose the season when you play in France could have a factor. A balmy June, July, August, is more pleasant than a cold February, March, April, May. I spoke to a mate soon after the game, i could hear the howling wind blowing down his phone. The only words i could hear clearly were “why didn’t you tell me to take a f-ing coat”, i shouted back down the phone “i am not Tomasz Scharfernaker or John Kettley

What a thriller but not very good for the blood pressure. Tomkins has always been a scourge for Saints and he nearly did it again tonight, i don’t know who got MOTM but i would’ve given it to Sam. His footwork is still amazing, every time he gets the ball Saints don’t know how to handle him. He’ll be kicking himself with the missed goal. As for Saints the defence is really good the attack not so.

Why don’t Wakefield play all of their games away from home touring the country, their away record is great. Prematch entertainment The Cribs, HT entertainment Jane McDonald.

10,523 at Warrington, not a great attendance.
It has been a freezing day that couldn’t put a few off. But id imagine what put most supporters off was that tune they play at cricket.

I’ll always remember the England/Wales RLWC game at Old Trafford, the press kept saying there was huge demand for tickets for the match. In the end only about 30,000 turned up, i hope fans are not put off attending the game at EFC if there are still plenty of tickets left.
