Hands up all those who think that this picture looks like Chris Hill in his Harrodsfield shirt.

Well they have left a club with lesser crowds and even lesser of a history to join us so who knows, just as no-one knows how much those 2 players are on, they certainly don't give the club a 'big spenders' tag.
Well Daz, I'm really disappointed in you with that remark about history, that is a really cheap shot and not worthy of a club like yours in the town where tha greatest game began. Now go and stand in the naughty corner and think about what you said.

I think Salford's 'Poundland' team will beat 'Harrodsfield'.

Just a few days left before the shoot-off with Salfod and I thought the Giants fans amongst us would be interested in the video link attached here.
Enjoy!

The selection of James Robey in the 'Dream Team' seems a selection based upon nostalgia for a player coming to the end of a fine career, rather than on form and merit.
Can you persuade me otherwise?

Oops, didn't see that this topic is already covered on another thread. Soz

But the left edge was far leakier earlier in the season. At the Hudds game it was Thewlis’ dropped bombs that let the left side down. Thewlis has generally been pretty good this year though, even though he’s playing out of position and has had to switch between the two wings.
'The left edge, the right edge, the spine, the middles, the pivots', with 4 castors I could make a nice shopping trolley!

This was my favourite. Where is our old friend, by the way?
Broadmoor I expect.

I think Paul Rowley will want to keep the momentum going and basically pick a full side, leaving out only those with a 'niggle', if that's the case it will be another 45-10ish home win.
If my prediction ensues, Mr Powell's mush will yet again look like a slapped RC.
(Great minds eh, I've just said what Slim has just said!)

Signing everyone is not very good practice as far as salary cap management goes.
Ah but, allegedly, the Wigan way is to put the player's wife on the Accounts Dept payroll on a salary of £120k a year, as a way of paying the player via the back door and the club staying under the Cap.
Very tricky.

Watson & Powell, 2 happy-go-lucky souls.
I bet a nite out with those 2 would be a real barrell of laffs.

The year that Salford would have benefitted from increased attendances from the 2019 Grand Final would have been 2020, especially as they got to the Challenge Cup Final that year. Covid prevented that. By the time covid restrictions were removed, Salford were back to being one of the weaker Super League teams. If Salford can do it this year, I would hope that there will be a boost attendance wise next year.
For the CC final Salford were unable to maximise exposure and revenue because of the Covid lock down on attendance at Wembley. That was just plain unlucky.

I volunteer to post up Salford's next 4 match threads John.

Nothing to lose ? Who you trying to kid?
We've already achieved our objective of not being in a fight against relegation, as many predicted, and so now we have nothing lo lose and everything to gain Fev.

What about Zaphod Beeblebrox, I wonder what they might have to say about this?
-
I see the Salford Reds are risin'
Cons to the above statement:
We're away at the Mend a Sock Jungle where the atmosphere is mightily agin us. Cas are finding results from somewhere and are very dogged.
Pros:
We've won there already. We're playing as a unit, nearly all of our back line are fit, we have more forwards back and we're peaking at the right time. We have the confidence gained by thumping Saints, Dragons and Giants. And we have nothing to lose.
Therefore my conclusion is Salford by 8 at least.
MoM prediction: Mark Sneyd
Attendance: 8,412

Come on then, what do you think, hope for and expect in this the penultimate game of the ordinary season for the 2 clubs in 6th and 7th place in the Betfred Superleague?
it's time to vent your spleen, but only nicely of course..we don't want any Anthony Joshuas on ere.

A win for both sides.

Oh er......didn't they the read the script?

Yeah, all sounds good, but Watson has only one game plan, a negative one, to bore the life out of everyone.
