So the only people who have a right to criticise Watson are those who have coached more teams to Grand Finals and Challenge Cup Finals?

Presumably you also believe that the only people who can criticise Boris Johnson are politicians who have won more than one general election.

I agree politicians who have never won a GE or led during a pandemic should not be able to criticise BoJo

Well of course that is the case, so if Leigh are reducing ticket prices and still getting 6k attendances that is even worse !

So average ticket is around 25, you need 10k minimum at these prices plus as much hospitality sales as you can.

Just presumed we rule out discounted tickets but quite right I should have clarified.

Something Leigh don’t do they try to build value through the event and one price for anywhere - I hope they review that btw so prices vary in the same stand eg West outers is same as centre drop outers by £2. And raise centre blocks by same.

Might be quite superb for Leigh but not good enough for SL.

Top tier should be pulling 10k plus every week.

Anyone pulling less are making the numbers up and are surviving off a benefactor or central funding which is not sustainable

A common mistake made by folk who draw a wage off somebody else. 10000 at £15 is far worse than 6000 at £25. Friday nights bring in higher revenue per head but less heads, the club must build its ST base on the back of this season

It's the clear answer. The SL clubs voted against it because they wanted 1/12th of the pie and not 1/14th.

    Pure greed.

Now they have 1/12th of a lot less.

    Well done all round.

This all because SL didn’t want the middle 8’s that Sky loved

Must be 12, relegation/promotion to run at SL play off rounds with bottom of SL seeded 6.

Drop Thursdays to encourage more family friendly kick off times

Clubs to sell home and away season tickets and keep all revenue

    no loop fixtures

pre season start to CCup with BBC deal showing 2 games a weekend from the group fixtures say 5.30pm Sat and Sun on BBC2. First 2 weeks should be SL away to lower division clubs with May final

C4 or BBC to get SL promotion play offs, money to fund lower leagues

Don't worry you've got super Dan Norman coming to the rescue on loan 😁

When Saints signed him from the Championship given his size I think the club were hoping for another Walmsley type development but I have to say he's failed miserably so far. For whatever reason he looks like he's playing half heartedly in most games and for a front rower there's a worrying lack of aggression in attack & defence.

He's already been pushed down the pecking order at Saints by teenager Delaney and with both Knowles & Mata'utia getting game time in the front row he's probably only 7th choice prop at the club, so I think a loan move is probably the best thing for Norman now. Its rumoured he was joining Leigh for 2024 anyway.

Lam rates and him he has signed for 2024. Sometimes belief and confidence can do wonders for a young prop with the best years ahead of him. Lams signings for 24 have a distinct pattern so far Halton Norman Trout
