Anyone know if Oledski is off injured?
I hope not. I think he’s top quality and would love him at Saints.

Always thought that if this was close it could go any way but Wigan were the ones more likely to win by a wide margin. Whilst the score is still close, seen enough to think Wigan could win well here.
Probably means Leeds will hammer Wigan second half with my prediction skills
Bentley never seems to learn.

Genuinely not sure how this one will go, obviously I want my team to win but I find Salford’s style of play a breath of fresh air and it’s great that they are at this stage. If we lose we bow out as three time champions and i will have my head held high and be applauding Salford.

I didn’t realise so many groups were classed as key workers. Good initiative by Wigan that should generate lots of interest.
The stipulation in the terms and conditions about leaving on 70 minutes is harsh but if they want them to become regulars….

Is this common?
I mean having a ‘favourite’?

Go for it, brilliant rugby from Salford. Wait for the excuses though.
We just got beaten by a better team, you’d be better off worrying about the chip on your shoulder.

It’s a while since we have been on the wrong end of a hammering like this but good on Salford! Great to see how they are doing with, and I mean this respectfully, stretched resources. I do like the way Salford play!

Really enjoying this game as a neutral with a soft spot for both teams.

If I were a fan of any of those clubs from Salford down to Wakefield then I would be getting just a little nervous.

I imagine Matautia will get more than 8 games as his was a potential crusher tackle and there was a possibility that the huddersfield player had neck or spine damage before he lifted him. In the Halifax players case the possibility of neck or spine damage were miniscule.
The following incident should also result in a ban for Fagues as it is impossible for him to know if the Saints player was injured or not so should not have been moving him irelevant of if the Saints player was doing a bit of time wasting.
Edit: Theres actually 2 players that should be banned after that incident as the physio had to come on and check the player so he must be obviously injured.........
Whilst I can understand why this has been raised, it is for me where the lines get a little blurred. People are looking for consistency, especially within the same 80 minutes, I don’t know if there has been a crackdown on these situations particularly but there has to be some degree of common sense in there.
I am not saying that Lussick wasn’t hurt at all, you’ll find plenty of pain in matches like that it’s about when you ignore it or play up to it, but I do think he was laying it on particularly by holding on to the ball to eat up the clock. I thought it was clever of Lussick in that way, some might call it gamesmanship, was he really injured from that particular incident? Who knows? I think not so much. Same with Levi was he really injured? Possibly. You could argue it didn’t look that way but at the time, in my opinion, there is no way Sione knew that, so he made a bad choice to lift a player who was potentially injured. I thought Kendal got both these decisions (and the yellow) right. Who’d be a ref?

Is that the reward for scoring 7 tries ?
Doesn’t count on the salary cap mate

Just heard Bevan French has been pulled off now. After his amazing try scoring feat he deserves it.

Is the Saints player allowed to start running as Pryce begins his run up
I thought you still were allowed to do this for penalties?

This probably doesn't mean anything to anyone but I would just like to point out how much Joe Batchelor looks like Number 1 from The Umbrella Academy.
That means the Umbrella academy has produced only slightly fewer decent academy players than Warrington.

Whether you think that’s a red or not, I am not sure what Matuatia thinks he’s gaining from that. It’s daft and there is always the risk that that is a potentially dangerous for a player. There’s a whole thread on this, not sure whether this is on the back of a crackdown but a daft play for me.

Roby. Double movement, knock on and short of the tryline
So no try then.
Well even as a Saints fan it didn’t look any more or less clear than the one Regan Grace was awarded against Leeds

Leeds very good tonight, hard to believe where they have come from this year. They’ll be challenging for the next decade IMHO.
Saints wonderfully consistent in the right areas.
