Not really colin NRL salary cap just under £10 million and clubs get £13 millon a year TV deal They have to pay 30 players each year the lowest they have to pay for young lads is £60K the average is £350K and the highest get paid over £500K

For what it's worth S in my opinion if fans want to watch a successful team with the reported significant cut to central funding FEV have no option but to increase ST prices
-
Your right G all the moaners are forgetting two extra games this year You're also right about the increase per game incidentally concessions increase by 19p per game
-
Couldn't care less about Joey what I want to know is what's happened to JSL
-
What figures are they C
-
Because S we've been on the cusp of Super League promotion for the last few years and have fallen on the final hurdle.and we reckon Leilua could be the difference in helping us realise our Super League dream. Don't you just love the rumour mill
-
Maybe one of the ten who phoned FEV after the FAX win leaked it to the press
-
Sorry G you got it wrong it's not Player's agent (maybe) trying to generate interest in the player IT'S Player's agent (full stop) trying to generate interest in the player

colin he was earning around $850,000 per-year, that's over £ 400000 in proper money
-
All fans need to look down the back of the settee to get some pennies to pay his contract
-
Just a thought when we announced Loui tuther day on his little video he said hit ground running come monday does that mean the very exciting signings moving forward.will be turning up for training
-
I wonder if Big Frank will announce the JSL signing this afternoon
-
Not yet Colin but sometimes getting owt out of the club is like getting blood out of a stone however apparently we have still to announce some very exciting signings moving forward.
-
Yes that could tempt some newbies to buy one BUT with no early bird scheme no rush to buy I'm sure all the usual suspects will have their ST before we kick off
-
That's true PH I'm sure all will come out in the wash the good problem is FEV being a top club won't just sign anybody who pops up I think it doesn't help when thunder announce their 20th new signing even though not many if any are good enough to play for FEV I think it would also help to ease some fans frustrations if they announce a NEW player who has not appeared on the FEV rumour mill
-
YES it was interesting to hear what he said but how long will we be waiting as fans to react to a few that are yet to be announced remember yesterday we’ll announce a fresh new signing. who never appeared
-
Hasn't JSL been playing prop for carpet carriers
-
Funny thing though PH he played centre on loan at at the dogs but on leeds squad page he's listed as a second row L EDWARDS DOB 25/12/2003 POSITION SECOND ROW WEIGHT HEIGHT 180CM
-
Maybe G but remember helewell could be classed as a resigning and I wonder if anymore ex FEV out there waiting to get an invitation to the blue wall
-
It would make sense to announce jacob tonight only 2 players in front of him while loui who played really well is sadly behind at least 8 forwards but wouldn't surprise me if we announce him later on Regarding Ben he's too good to be asked to sit in the stands most weeks but remember were talking FEV here so owts possible It is surprising especially as all the players who we'ave let go were quickly snapped up both in championship and league 1
-
Yes and No M I think when he takes the ball in he takes some getting down and I think his defence is very good but I agree his time as a regular starter in the 17 is sadly over and we need new blood to take over his mantle
-
Rocketed really yes the cost has increased but remember H we get two extra home games this year 13 as opposed to 11 last year
