Thought most of the new signings for both Leeds and Wakey went well. Connor played well and both Hall and Siva made great meters on kick returns. Thought Russell went well for us and Trueman's kicking game was good. Cam Scott look very good as well. Should've delt the comedy try but hay ho. A good day out.

I thought this as well. It does seem to have given clubs a bit of a kick up the backside so to speak. That being said though it's easy for us Wakefield fans to say that because of Matt Ellis. Similar at cas due to Jepson. We'll have to see how clubs like Fev, fax etc fair, to really see if the sport as a whole is improving (I feel it will). Still I feel there's plenty of reasons to be optimistic imo.

I mean everyone's probably gonna say Nathan Cleary. But I'll try and give a sensible answer. As a Wakey fan I'd reckon Daniel Levi would be a great pick up for us. We have good squad depth but I just don't feel going with Liam Hood and Doyle as hookers is strong enough imo. Doyle looks great but has never played Super League and age/injuries are catching up with Hood.
