Club going bust?

No not yours... Ours... York City Knights - but it made you look, so please keep reading

The owner of York City Knights is hell bent on destroying the club simply because he didn't get his own way with the local council. We have had a fantastic offer from someone else and almost every Knights fan wants to take it.

We have had no real pre-season, we have nowhere to train, we have nowhere to play home games and we are quickly running out of time. Our last "home" game was played at the local amateur RU club to just 360 - that is not a measure of the support for RL in our city (we used to have 1000's), but a measure of the support for the man.

Unfortunately, unless the RFL force it, he won't go, and continues to keep York as a laughing stock.

If JM Packaging were to take over, York would have all the facilities they need to join you in the Championship and we'd be fighting for SL alongside you. And you'll love visiting our new Stadium, with no dandelions on the pitch...
