Salford Red Devils owner Marwan Koukash has confirmed on Twitter that forward Gareth Hock has left the club.
Hock, who is suspended for the next six weeks of action after two illegal uses of the knees against St Helens, has now left the AJ Bell Stadium after Koukash wrote the following on Twitter:
“Gareth Hock has left the club. I thank him for his services and wish him well and the very best for the future . Good luck mate”
Hock himself confirmed the news on social media too, writing:
“I av now left Salford from today I would like to thank the club & Marwan for the support & help and the fans wish them all the best”
The news comes as talk emerges with a reported move for Kevin Locke to Scottish rugby union, too.
