Wakefield Trinity Wildcats utility Craig Hall admits that he has held talks with incoming League One side Toronto Wolfpack – but has not ruled out a stay at Belle Vue in 2017, either.
Hall revealed to BBC Radio Leeds that he’s spoken with coach Paul Rowley and director of rugby Brian Noble, and admits it would be an intriguing challenge for him as he weighs up his next move.
However, Hall insists that his future has not yet been decided, and revealed his management have also been in contact with the Wakefield hierarchy over a potential stay.
“It’s very interesting; I’ve had a couple of meetings with Brian Noble and Paul Rowley so I think it’d be a challenge to see what’s going to be happening out there,” he said.
“I’m one of those guys where I wouldn’t mind taking a gamble, so we’ll just see how it goes.
“I’ve never been to Canada – I don’t come out of Hull that often – so we’ll see what it’s like. A lot of it would be based over here, they do around three months over there, so it would be something to look into.
“My agent has spoken to Michael (Carter) and Chezzy (Chris Chester) regarding staying so it’s up in the air at the minute.”
