After missing out on selection in the England Knights’ opening Test against Papua New Guinea, Jack Walker is expecting a physical test as he lines up at fullback in Port Moresby.
“I’m expecting a really physical game, especially their pack who are dominant and tough,” said Walker.
“Watching from the sideline is not my thing so I’m really excited for this week. Hopefully, we can get the win again.”
With three fellow Rhinos set to play on Saturday in Mikolaj Oldeski, Liam Sutcliffe and Ash Handley, Walker is pleased there will be familiar faces alongside him as he steps into an unknown environment.
“It’s always good to have familiar faces beside you, especially Mikolaj. I’ve been with him quite a bit over here and we’ve built up more of a bond. Ash coming off the bench will make a real impact.
“I’ll just keep on doing what I do best and see if it works. I’ve watched the game from Saturday and picked up a few things that might work.
