Jackson may miss Origin decider

New South Wales back rower Josh Jackson may miss the third State of Origin clash after he was charged with a Grade 2 dangerous throw while playing for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Jamie Soward.

The charge will see him miss two games, ruling him out of the deciding Origin clash. Jackson will need to fight the grading and have it downgraded if he is a chance of playing.

If he is unsuccessful in challenging the charge, he will miss 3 games.

New South Wales coach Laurie Daley has a few options available to him, with the most likely option being the reinstatement of veteran Luke Lewis, who has been in good form of late.

Other options are Tyson Frizell from the St.George-Illawarra Dragons or Tariq Sims from the Newcastle Knights.
