Hull FC full-back Jordan Rankin will return to the NRL in 2015 after agreeing a contract until the end of 2017 with Wests Tigers.
Rankin, who is out of contract with the Black and Whites at the end of the season, started his career in the NRL with Gold Coast Titans before joining FC in 2013.
He has gone on to become a key part of Lee Radford’s side since, but will now go back to his native Australia to continue his career, with the Tigers also announcing the signing of St George star Justin Hunt on the same day.
“As a Club we are continually looking at improving our depth and the overall quality of our NRL squad,” Tigers coach Jason Taylor said.
“Both Jordan and Justin have plenty of experience which means that the competition for positions in the NRL team will increase next year.
“I know that both players are coming to the Club for an opportunity and to fight hard for positions in the team – that’s what we desire.”
