With speculation still running rife over the future of Leigh Centurions half-back Rangi Chase, the club’s coach, Neil Jukes, has admitted something is “going on”.
TotalRL broke the news at the start of this week how Chase was set to leave the Leigh Sports Village following a brief stay with the Championship leaders.
He initially signed for Leigh during the off-season and was tipped to be a major success at the club, but the revelation which broke on our site earlier this week has suggested that his time at the club is over.
And Jukes told the Leigh Journal there is clearly something happening concerning Chase – but said he couldn’t comment on the situation.
“There is obviously something going on,” admitted coach Neil Jukes. “There are too many rumours for there not to be. But I can’t comment.”
