Super League sides Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity will play their traditional pre-season fixture on Boxing Day in the Wetherby Whaler Challenge.
Trinity were victorious in the fixture last year and went on to enjoy a strong season, finishing eighth in Super League.
