Lineham determined to push for England call

New Warrington Wolves flier Tom Lineham is hoping his move to the Wolves will help him push for a berth in the England side.

Lineham has made the move to Warrington following an incredible year at Hull, where he scored 25 tries in 22 Super League appearances.

However, that form was not enough to earn him a call-up England’s squad for the Test series against New Zealand, with Jermaine McGillvary, Ryan Hall and Joe Burgess getting the nod.

It was a disappointing exclusion for Lineham, but the 23-year-old is prepared to force his way into contention.

“There’s only two wingers that can play for England and there’s five or six good wingers there – which is great for the national side,” he told TotalRL.

“Obviously I’d love to play at some point but I know I’ve got to be consistent and prove that last year wasn’t really a one-off for me.”
