London Broncos sign another NRL star

London Broncos have continued their recruitment plans for life in the Championship next year, after they completed the signing of Manly forward Daniel Harrison on a two-year deal.

Harrison has experience in Australia’s top league with both the Sea Eagles and Paramatta Eels, and will provide a wealth of experience for the Broncos in 2015 as they look to get back into Super League at the first attempt.

“I am really excited and looking forward to joining the Broncos for the 2015 and 2016 seasons,” said Harrison. “I have spoken to Joey Grima and he was really happy to have me at the Broncos which made me confident and excited to play under him.

“It is an exciting time to play in the UK having played in the NRL for Manly and Parramatta and I am excited to see how my game will go. It will be a good challenge for me and I am looking forward to it.

London Broncos head coach Joey Grima is delighted to secure the signing of Harrison saying: “Daniel will bring a wealth of experience to our club. He’s come out of the Manly and Parramatta training programmes and has extensive rugby league knowledge from his time in the NRL.

“He will have the opportunity to continue to train in a full-time environment while helping our club to achieve its goals in 2015.”
