Rovers face pay cuts meeting

Hull Kingston Rovers will speak to their players on Tuesday about pay cuts.

A meeting has been set up with some of the club’s players to discuss the ongoing debate running rife through Super League clubs.

The Robins are among the clubs yet to reach an agreement with their players, but they have still agreed to commence training from Monday, despite there being no agreement in place.

Nevertheless, the club’s playing staff want talks to be finalised by the time of their first game back on Sunday, August 2nd, when Rovers take on Toronto in a crucial bottom-of-the table clash.

Meanwhile, the club’s doctor Dr Gemma Phillips has been named as the latest recipient of the RFL President’s Award.
