Hull KR coach Craig Sandercock was thrilled to see his side get their first win of the season against Bradford yesterday. But the Australian is under no illusions that his side are the finished article.
He said: “It’s good to get a win, it’s good to keep a side scoreless and we’re pretty happy with that. We created a fair amount of chances and got held up four or five times. Normally you can count on converting at least one of those into a try.
“The conditions weren’t great and our execution still isn’t quite where we need it to be, but overall I thought we dominated the game and it was good to get the win. All of the boys are working hard and they’ll continue to do so as we still have a long way to go.”
