Junior Sa'u has been left out of Salford's 19-man squad to face St Helens.
The centre has been replaced by Greg Johnson in an otherwise unchanged 19-man squad.
A Salford spokesperson confirmed that Sa'u has a slight hamstring injury, but his exclusion from the squad is only a precautionary measure.
