Huddersfield Giants full-back Scott Grix has avoided a ban at an RFL disciplinary hearing this evening, after he was charged with an offence during the Giants’ loss to Hull FC.
Grix was summoned to appear before the disciplinary panel on a Grade A charge of striking, after being involved with an altercation with FC captain Gareth Ellis.
However, he received a £300 fine and a letter of warning after pleading guilty to the offence. He did not have the option of the early guilty plea.
