Sunday round-up: Wakefield thrash Hull KR as Leigh win again

Wakefield Trinity returned to winning ways in emphatic style as they eased to a 54-18 win over Hull KR.

In the Championship, Leigh moved level on points with fourth-placed London with a 40-30 win over the Broncos.

Quentin Laulu-Togage’s impressive start to life with Fax continued as he scored two tries against his former club, with the in-form Chester Butler also bagging a brace.

Sheffield’s defeat allowed Rochdale to move to within two points of safety as they ended their losing streak by defeating Dewsbury 32-27.

Dec Kay’s try two minutes from time secured the Hornets their first win in eight.

In the other Championship fixtures, Batley’s unlikely top four hopes took a hit as they lost 20-18 at Barrow.

In League 1, Bradford Bulls couldn’t quite break York’s record set a week earlier but scored 124 points against lowly West Wales.
