Ten players announced in England train-on squad

Ten players have been named in Wayne Bennett’s England train-on squad as preparations started early this week for the international Test against France and the Ladbrokes Four Nations tournament which begins on Saturday, October 29.

The England train-on squad only includes UK-based players involved in games up to Round 7 in the Super 8s competition.

Training with new England Assistant Coach Paul Anderson and performance staff from the beginning of this week (Monday, October 3), players from Castleford Tigers, Huddersfield Giants, Leeds Rhinos and Widnes Vikings have come together to maintain fitness and skills.

The players in this squad have been invited to train in the England programme – the final Four Nations 24-man squad will be announced on Monday, October 10.
