Tongan squad revealed

The following players have been selected to represent the Tongan National Rugby League in Saturday’s Test match against Samoa at Cbus Super Stadium.

Coach of the side is Kristian Woolf, who currently has the Townsville Blackhawks at the top of the Intrust Super Cup ladder.

The team will gather on the Gold Coast on Monday and will attend, with other Pacific Test nations, the scheduled media event at Dreamworld on Monday afternoon.

“We concentrated on youth in the make-up of the side and some of these guys are among the most promising young players in the NRL,” said Woolf of the squad.

“But we also have some good hard experience in Richard Fa’aoso, Anthony Tupou and Sika Manu in the forwards.
