Toronto Wolfpack have announced that Quinn Ngawati, who was apart of their inaugural squad, will rejoin the club.
After a strong performance in Wolfpack’s pre-season trials, which he impressed coaches and players alike, Ngawati was able to cement himself in Toronto’s journey to Super League, which has now been accomplished.
Quinn made his debut off the bench against Gloucester back in July 2017, a game which Toronto dominated 62-10. However, he struggled for game time in the 2018 Betfred Championship campaign, and subsequently was loaned out to League One London Skolars, where he featured nine times and crossed for his maiden try.
Despite being just 20 years of age, Ngawati holds one priceless international cap, earned by representing Canada against the USA in September 2017.
Brian McDermott spoke about his return: ‘Everyone at Toronto talks positively about Quinn and the impact he had on the early days of the Wolfpack. He has done all the right things in the intervening years and we are delighted to welcome him back into the fold.’
