THERE’S a double-header on offer in Manchester tomorrow (Saturday 8 October) and, no, it’s got nothing to do with the evening’s First Utility Super League Grand Final between Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors at Old Trafford.
There’s amateur action taking place a few hours earlier at the Manchester Regional Arena, where England Lions Under 18s are taking on their counterparts from Wales at 11.00am.
That match is followed by the Conference Trophy Challenge Final, at 1.30pm, between Hunslet Club Parkside and Rochdale Mayfield.

Three games, meanwhile, are taking place in the Kingstone Press Cider National Conference League’s First Division. Myton Warriors host Elland in the morning (10.30am) while Featherstone Lions entertain Skirlaugh at 1.30pm. Ince Rose Bridge travel to Normanton Knights for a 2.30pm start.
