Contrary to what his agent said earlier today, St Helens coach Nathan Brown has officially ruled himself out of the running to replace Matthew Elliott as head coach of New Zealand Warriors.
“I’m quite happy and content where I am,’’ Brown told the Australian Daily Telegraph.
“I’m quite satisfied at the moment. The big thing is timing and the timing must be right.
“I’ve got a good job here. I would like to come home and coach one day but it’s not really an option at the moment.
“We are very happy where we are. As I said, I would like to come home to the NRL one day but timing is the key.”
Kangaroos coach Tim Sheens is also thought to be another man in the running.
