Wood endures injury setback

Kyle Wood’s return from injury has been prolonged after suffering a quad injury.

It is a recurrence of a previous injury that has frustrated the playmaker before, however the extent of the injury was worse than anticipated.

The 26-year-old has been out of action since July after breaking his foot against Catalans, but returned to training last month. He is expected to miss four to six weeks.

Huddersfield will also be without Luke Robinson and Craig Huby as they continue to recover from injuries, with Huby expected to have his pot off shortly following wrist surgery. He will be out for another four to six weeks.
