North Wales Crusaders have had another busy week with their recruitment for next year, with stars Stuart Reardon and Christiaan Roets both signing new deals and halfback Ryan Smith and forward Danny Rasool joining from Rochdale and Salford respectively.
“Given the experience Stuart has, it’s a massive bonus for us to keep him with us,” said coach Anthony Murray.
“He had a few injuries last year so we didn’t see him as frequently as we’d have liked, but hopefully he can stay injury-free this year and do really well for us.
“Like Stuart, Christiaan is the sort of player we want to keep on board. He has been here since the start and can play a few positions, so again it’s great that we’ve been able to keep him. “I wanted Ryan to join us last year, but he decided to go to Rochdale and got 22 games there. He’s a very consistent performer and we needed some competition in the halves, so I am delighted he has chosen to come to us this year.
“Danny is a product of Salford Academy who has come highly recommended by their coach Ian Watson.
“Like the young lads we brought in from Leigh, he’ll come to us from a good system, so he will have the right attributes we want at North Wales Crusaders.”
