Featherstone Rovers have announced that forward Steve Snitch has joined the club on loan from Doncaster for the remainder of the 2015 season.
Snitch has made more than 200 Super League appearances in his career at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Huddersfield Giants and Castleford Tigers and, following a spell at Northern Pride in Australia in 2013, Snitch returned to the UK to play for Doncaster in the Championship.
Rovers have also announced that forward Ryan Verlinden has joined Doncaster for the remainder of the 2015 season on loan as well.
Rovers coach Jon Sharp said: “I’m really excited that Steve has joined us for the remainder of the season and he’ll be a great addition to the squad.
“I worked with Steve for three years at Huddersfield Giants and signed him from originally from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. I’ve watched him develop as a player and he was on my radar as soon as I agreed to joined Featherstone.
“He brings versatility to the squad and plenty of experience and because we’ve worked together previously, he knows the systems I like to utilise so he will fit in well and quickly. He’s a very good professional, good trainer and it is great to work with him again.”
