NRL outfit Manly Sea Eagles have confirmed the signing of former Wigan and Hull FC forward Epalahame Lauaki.
The 30-year-old was granted an early release from his Wigan contract before the start of the season started so he could return home for personal reasons.
He made 35 appearances for the cherry and whites, scoring twice, and played 56 times for Hull FC. He also spent four seasons at New Zealand Warriors and made two appearances for the Kiwis.
In a statement, Manly Sea Eagles said: “Lauaki will join the club on a one-year deal and will add some much needed experience and depth to the Sea Eagles forward pack following the retirement of Richie Fa’aoso earlier in the year.”
