Our academy aren't the strongest this year but there's some cracking lads coming through the scholarship, we actually beat Warrington last week, 26-24, coming back from 0-20 down to beat the wire.

The problem at the grounds is that the score and clock banner runs right along the bottom of the big screen so anyone watching them in the grounds can't actually see the grounding or anything happening. Surely it's not hard for Sky to remove the banner for things like this or just move it to the top of the screen? Mind you the positioning of the screen at Leeds is awful if you're on the western terrace.

I don't recall Huddersfield fans or players abusing the referee because they don't get their own way Admittedly we weren't very good on the field, suppose we could blame the ref though that's how it works these days.

It was given as not try on the field, VR couldn't find insufficient evidence to overturn it based on the lack of camera angles that showed that he actually kept hold of the ball.

Despite the baffling decision to award that Newman try, Leeds played very well, their defence was excellent and they reduced Wigan to Wakefield Trinity esque crapness so fair play. Fair play as well to Matt Peet, despite being a Wiganer you can't help but like the bloke. I just hope he doesn't turn into a Powell type whinger, he always speaks well and respectful too.

This will now be the new throwing the ball at a tackled player to win a penalty, how can an official now penalise this or disallow a try because of this now? You can't just turn a blind eye cos it's a struggling Leeds.

No just looked at it a couple of times and said he was happy with the decision. What a strange decision that was.

How can you give a try when you dive through the legs of your team mate, thus interfering with the marker? If that's anywhere else on the field it's surely a penalty for incorrect play the ball or obstruction? Is it so not to upset Newman, his dad and Leeds again?

It just highlights the sadness and desperation of some RL fans, desperate to not accept any criticism of their teams and sadness to believe that a conspiracy exists against their team. I'm pretty sure the RFL, MRP, house of lords, Old Bailey etc haven't just decided to pick on poor little old Halifax Panthers, yet that's what is being claimed on here. If Halifax are getting lots of bans, and lots of incidents reviewed then that's on Halifax as a club, no one else, just Halifax. Maybe Fax fans should be questioning their coaches and players rather than the system?

How can picking a (potentially) injured player off the ground by his shirt with 2 hands NOT be aggressive? Dear me, hand your cards in.

Maybe the club owners, coaches and administrators could try and persuade the players to stop being idiots on the field then?
