  1. We are in for some thrills and spills which is going to be facinating. I'd say near on two capacity crowds this week. It's all there up for grabs to who can keep their cool under the pressure. Bring it on.
  2. I reckon Wigan and Wire have nailed the top two spots. This Friday could be make or break for Warrington as to who finishes top. It's down below that's just as interesting. With the Saints, Leeds and Hull losing and Hull KR sneaking up with a win, it's going to be nip and tuck over the next few weeks. Even Huddersfield aren't out of it. Given the Saints erratic form, it's going to be tough going hanging on to third spot. Hull versus Hull KR is one hell of a match this Thursday, given the situation.
  3. Simply amazing. Because of the nerves the stadium generated I couldn't stay still. I must have walked miles in my time before kick-off. That was some atmosphere and some. Even the buzz walking up to the ground sent shivers down the spine. If you could have bottled it you would make a fortune.
  4. Our webmaster (love him) has been doing plenty of locking lately. And to think once upon a time tea caddies were locked up. Before my time of course. On another issue, the Saints are going to sell off the turf at KR. Has anyone got any memorabillia from now defunct rugby grounds. Perhaps a urinal or toilet seat!
  5. Tha Saints have played a couple of games at Anfield.
  6. He certainly needs to get some decent games in to prove his worth as his better days have gone.
  7. I wonder what Morley thinks given that he has had more downs than ups since signing?
  8. During Cullen's time at the club the Wire have certainly been a mixed bag. They did have problems last night due to a great defence with little imagination to break it down. The new stadium has attracted an increase in support but ultimately it is on the playing field that counts on maintaining interest. Now is the time for Cullen to motivate his players with a desire to go the extra mile. The next few weeks will tell whether they can hack it.
  9. Still early days but on the Wire performance tonight Morley appears to have joined a 'retirement' home. Wire were dire. Well done the Quins on a great defensive effort. Also was the crowd of 7800 down from last year. The fans that turned up were certainly venting their anger towards the Wire players. With two games against the Saints to come it is game on to recover.
