18-55mm lens is just the job - very versatile Happy photography!

I've found that Canon GENERALLY are easier to find lenses for - Sony is becoming easier as they make a bigger play in the DSLR market and all Minolta lensesd fit SOny too.

Sigma do some excellent lenses at very reasonable prices - I recently bought a Sigma 70-300 Telephoto for

Photoshop Elements but to be fair I don't do much editing - the real skill is taking the best pic first time!! By the way there is a great feature called "My FIrst DSLR" in the DIgital SLR photography magazine this month - well worth a read if you're serious about buying one.

It's fantastic and you can decide what level of subscription you want so great value for money. Highly recommended - do th e7 day free trial thingy - unlike other things that are a free trial you don't get pressured into ordering at the end of it

I think it's Wakey. Their fans are the most biased I've ever come across
