    RIP scoff

    What a great way to say goodbye to a true Fev supporter. A minutes silence and a fantastic performance from the boys.
  2. I'm with Colin. Supported Fev for 70 years. Won't stop until either my health gives in or they cremate me.

  4. In my 70 years of watching Fev I have left the ground feeling proud on too many occasions to count. Either at Post office road, away or at wembley. Today ranks with the best

  7. I said earlier that I wouldn't be watching any of these matches, but I went to the club shop yesterday and bought tickets for all Fev home games and a £30 Wembley ticket all for £20. Bargain

  9. Hope it's a one off, 14 people shot in down town Toronto last night, one dead and at least one critical. Thoughts go out to the victims and their families.
  10. I was talking to Ian before the Batley game and as Steve said, Ian has a groin strain and was having difficulty running so he needed to rest it. Hopefully he will be back soon and allow Tom to move back to the halves.
  11. Apparently we haven't won the cup since 1973 according to Dave Woods during the draw.

  14. Christine Cullen ( Wife of Paul ) passed away at 6.30 yesterday evening. Sincere condolences to all the family at this sad time. she was only 48.
  15. According to the press, Danny Orr is on his way back to C@s and he's been playing at 9 for Quinns. So maybe its again just a rumour

    The team was:- Freddie Miller; Eric Batten, Don metcalfe, Alan tennant, Norman Mitchell; Ray cording, Ray evans;Kenny Welburn, Bill Bradshaw, John Daly;Laurie Gant, Fred Hulme; Cliff Lambert. Hope this helps
  17. Championship Team of the month includes 5 Fev players, Ian Hardman, Tommy Saxton, Jesse Joe Parker, Liam Finn and Jon Grayshon. Liam Finn is also Championship player of the month. Stuart and Jamie Field missed out by one place. Stuart being voted third best prop and Jamie second best loose Forward. Congratulations to all of them.
  18. Been to the ground this afternoon, no tickets as yet but told will be available before game on friday.
  19. I have the game against Bradford as September 24th 1949 and the Keighley game as 1947 but with Fred Richardson at Loose Fotward
