  1. Read the article again Hornetto , it is about Tracey Dawson. I would have thought considering all the going's on at Hornets at the moment you should be the last to start on about the financial affairs of others when this article has NOTHING whatsoever to do with yourself, or indeed RL for that matter. "KETTLE,BLACK CALLING,POT"-even you can work this out.
  2. I obviously hope Panthers play to their full potential and win comfortably, however, I have a feeling this going to be a close game, as was the last time that they met in York with York snatching victory right at the death.Panthers have been hitting purple patches in games, but we need to extend that further tomorrow and I feel a victory is within our grasp. Here's hoping for a great game of rugby. "COME ON PANTHERS"
  3. So sad when this happens to anyone regardless of their age but when it happens to someone this young you suddenly realize how precious life really is.My sincere condolences to all concerned.
  4. Technically Panthers should get the record of the RFL should 2 sets of records. The is because Panthers result was against professional league opponents. Taking nothing away from Huddersfield 142-4 and Barrow 138-0,both early 90's, but their opponents had both been thrown out of the league the previous season and were playing in an amateur competition and entered the REGAL TROPHY along with 12 other amateur sides and 2 french . Also Tom Hemingway kicked 22 goals from 22 attempts equalling Jim Sullivans record, although his record may also have been v an amateur side, not sure.So could Panthers have 2 records, certainly against professional opposition they have.
  5. Technically Panthers win is the record 132-0, as regardless of how poor Gateshead were and how well Panthers played they were PROFESSIONAL opposition. This was also against same league opposition. Taking nothing away from Huddersfield 142-4 v Blackpool Gladiators, or, Barrow 138-0 v Nottingham in the early 90;s but firstly they were playing teams that were technically amateur as both had been thrown out of the league the previous season along with Chorley and were playing in a national AMATEUR league that season. These 2 games were also part of the old Regal Trophy as the league had let 14 amateur + 2 French sides in the comp and so their scores have less creedance than Panthers.Hence why Panthers score should be the record.132-0. Also for the record Tom Hemingway kicked 22 goals which I believe equals the great Jim Sullivans record, however, was his record not also against an amateur side, not sure.So could Hemingway hold the record on his own v professional opponents!.
