With D.P. lease being sold to Allerdale B.C. what is D.P. earmarked for ? I am suspicious that someone is going to make a killing on the development of D.P.

"Eunuchorn" of course I am concerned about it, I live in Allerdale and I would not wish it all to end up a white elephant.

So a Sports Village Company is to be formed and made responsible for the management and day to day running of the facility ? 1. Will there be a Manager appointed with paid salary ? 2. Will there be a full time team of paid employee's to run the stadium ? 3. What will be the cost of this ? 4. How will the end users be charged for this ? 5. Will the Management company collect the gate receipts and sale of season tickets and then deduct their costs, before giving the balance to the end users (clubs). 6. Sale of matchday food and drink, would probably not be passed onto end users ? Once such a facility becomes a community stadium, it becomes political issue, and the majority of Council Tax payers will not want to support a project that increases their bills.

I don't understand why Town needs or wants a new stadium, when all the facilities could be provided at D/P with monies being spent on refurbishment rather than investing in a new and more expensive stadium. My opinion is that the politicians, investors, shakers & movers, must see Derwent Park as a valuable land development opportunity, surely developing Derwent Park including accommodating the Reds would be a better option. Also ask what would happen to Derwent Park site if it was vacated for a new stadium.

Donald, is Wellington Albert, and the 18 year old you refer to two different individuals or are they one and same person ? If they are two separate players, are we hoping we can sign the 18 year old. CONFUSED.

Bishop also plays hooker, but that would leave us short of a halfback.

I believe he as packed in due to family reasons, disappointing thought he had a very good season when he joined us.

My opinion is we have enough props and do not need any more, unless they were outstanding. I agree we need a centre, Taylor has not got the pace now to be outstanding, and gives too many penalties away, wanting to fight if he gets tackled.

Our best player in the squad, gives 200% he is awesome in defence, with him in the squad we can upset a lot of top teams. This is really great news, Callum is my ideal team Captain, he inspires and leads by example.

Jake as the potential to be a first class S/L player, " however he still as a lot to learn and requires to be protected and brought on carefully without exposing him to thuggery.

For his first year playing rugby league and especially at this level, Guy has real potential and can only get better, a energetic workhorse and with good coaching he will develop into an outstanding player. WELL DONE.

Excellent acquisition , with all the new signings 2022 promises to be a very interesting season. Thanks to a progressive BoD, Haven have turned the corner away from the turmoils of this current season, resulting in the BoD delivering an amazing 6th in the league conclusion for 2021. It is now up to the fans to demonstrate their support our club, by purchasing season tickets, club merchandise, contribute to the 300 club, Vice presidents, and get down to the Recre and support our team, our financial support is the only way Haven can afford to recruit quality players.
