  1. Assuming this has been replaced by the England Community Lions programme, not sure what benefit the BARLA membership offers anymore other than Junior competitions for your club.
  2. Head Coach Announcement Following the conclusion of the 2023 season we have unfortunately today received the news that Head Coach Dean Muir will be leaving the club with immediate effect to take up an exciting opportunity as the Head Coach of Hunslet RLFC. Dean joined the club at the beginning of the 2023 season with the objective of securing promotion to the National Conference League Premier Division which was achieved with games to spare, ultimately being crowned as champions. The club would like to go on record thanking Dean for his efforts this past season and wish him all the best in his new role. A process to select a new Head Coach heading into the 2024 season in the NCL Premier Division is now underway. The club are inviting applications for the position of Head Coach ahead of the 2024 Season in the NCL Premier Division. If interested in applying, please send a copy of your coaching CV to westbowlingarlfc@gmail.com
  3. Being from Bowling obviously ecstatic with how this year has gone, a win vs Pilks this weekend confirms the title as Egremont & Heworth can only reach 30 points and they're still to play each other. Having played both I'd argue Egremont are the stronger side but with their game against each other being at Heworth it's a real coin flip. Whichever of the 2 doesn't go up automatically I imagine will follow both teams up via the Play-offs. Div2 - Waterhead (C), Moor (A), Shaw X (PO) Div3 - Top 2 will likely stay as is with Ellenboroughs final 2 games versus bottom sides, probably would fancy Millom through the playoffs with their recent recruitment and momentum.
  4. It was chatter around the Junior section a few weeks ago from other clubs we were speaking to, I was shocked by it, but haven't been able to clarify its authenticity as yet having not spoken with either Hunslet clubs directly.
  5. I'm not sure of relegation, but there'll likely be teams leaving the NCL at the end of the 22' season. Dudley Hill for example have been struggling and I've heard that Hunslet Warriors & Parkside are to merge but how much of that is true I'm unsure.
