  1. To be fair this is one area where playing a lightweight pack might actually help. Don't think the Toulouse players will be that used to playing in 38 degrees plus weather either to be fair.
  2. Ive been to most grounds in SL - just haven't got to France yet! I think everyone has something going for it but it is really dependent on the game like others have said. The Jungle is objectively an absolute dump, yet on a Summers evening with a big crowd the atmosphere is electric. Belle Vue is again an absolute hole, but Ive seen some great games there with a great atmosphere and being pretty much on top of the pitch its quite unique (and scary if there's a big hit right infront of you) I think (and I'm probably 1005 Biased here) that Headingley is the 'best' ground in SL I think it's a perfect example of how to modernise an old stadium - I know it could do with a roof on the away end but IMO that's why its kept some of its old charm. Warrington/Saints I find a bit Meh and boring but again get a good game because of the size it can be fantastic. Wigan - I really like Wigans stadium, great atmosphere again - if there's a decent crowd in! Hudds - Brilliant stadium can't quite believe its as old as it is now Hull FC - again a fabulous stadium Hull KR - love going there, traditional and quirky but modernised. Salford - I'm going against the grain here - I actually really like AJ Bell
  3. Think this might be a tough evening for Leeds. No Sezer No Austin No Leeming One Prop - sorry two props now we've brought in a Wake youngster for 2 weeks.
  4. I doubt Gildart is on a massive wage. Ive seen it said that wests are paying 90% of his wages - that 10% will not equate to what Sutcliffe is on.
  5. Cap space. Sutcliffe is rumoured to be going to Hull for next season, so if rumours are true snd Wests are prepared to be paying most of his wages Leeds can let Sutcliffe go early, clearing his wages and get a decent replacement for the rest of the year for peanuts. This might mean we can bring in a Prop. Its simply a cash/cap thing IMHO.
  6. I wonder if any clubs will go with Castore in the future - their stuff seems really good.
  7. FWIW it was my first time at Magic yesterday and i thought it was a brilliant occasion/day out
  8. You know my thoughts on Oxen so don’t need to go into too much detail but my biggest issue, especially for our National side is the quality and fit of the stuff being sold, it’s cheap and nasty. It also can’t be very good for the environment producing all these ranges of cheap tat.
  9. Personally I hope that doesn't happen. Rohan Smith needs the time and space to build his own ethos and side, not with his Uncle looking over every move.
  10. It’s bizarre, no one outside of here seems to be criticising the sport, in fact it’s the opposite, most people seem to be saying how thick she is for nor knowing the difference.
  11. No, but it just so happens her ineptness has now infiltrated our sport. Reading Social Media and the responses everyone seems A. Aware of RL and B. Not actually having a go at it for once!
  12. She’s talked about Tennis Pitches and Downstreaming before, it’s nothing to do with our sport, she’s simply ridiculously thick, ill informed and unfit for her role.
  13. People know RL exists, but even if they don’t know the difference Id expect the Minister for Sport to.
  14. I didn’t say what’s the problem. I said he lost his rag and is rightly paying the price for it. lets not turn him into some kind of devil incarnate though, he wasn’t going to hit the ref at all, don’t be daft.
  15. He’s a young kid who’s had a frustrating couple of years. Part of what makes him a good player is his desire to win. He lost his rag at the end of a game and is quite rightly paying the price for it, hopefully he’ll learn from it, by some of the comments you’d think he’d smacked the ref or something
  16. Just to add it seems the Ref has been ‘banned’ for this weekends games too!
  17. He did apologise- of sorts “It’s in the heat of the moment and a tough one to take really. I don’t feel like I was, it’s just me being passionate about playing the game. I know it’s tough for the referees to officiate and make calls on those decisions. All I can do is apologise if I’ve come across like that.”
  18. We recently hammered Warrington Away without Newman. Leeds can win this, but Ive given up predicting what they will do game to game to be honest! If Hull play like they did against Warrington, Leeds will win, we have improved our attack since Smith arrived, but our defence seems to have got worse!
  19. One thing though, if gobbing off at the ref is worth a two match ban then it should be worth a red card at the time
  20. Stupidity from my club (and Newman) They might have had a case to plead guilty but the ban was too much but they should have just taken it on the chin. Will be interesting to see what they said
  21. Sky are going to struggle to get there 15 minutes of highlights together
  22. I think he can stop it if its effecting the play, as in if he’s in the playing area, but why would he stop it if it isn’t?
