Are there any teams in the Southern Conference League?
A five second google suggests not https://www.rugby-league.com/competitions/community-leagues/southern-conference-league/match-centre

A one off game for the world cup, Australia v New Zealand.

Some weather affected crowds in the NRL. In someway lending itself to the argument how unfit NSW stadiums are for purpose:
Bunnies v Panthers 8,155
Sea Eagles v Raiders 10,215
Broncos v Roosters 40,190
Tigers v Bulldogs 17,068
Titans v Storm 13,096
Cowboys v Dolphins 20,967
Knights v Warriors 16,094
Sharks v Dragons 9,731
Surely 17k for the Tigers v Bulldogs is impressive?

It’s cup quarter final day in the East today, with the Anglian Vipers travelling to Colchester to face the Eastern Rhinos, Brentwood Eels host Canvey Knights, Hemel Stags take on North Herts Crusaders and Bedford Tigers have a bye.
This is the Vipers’ matchday programme in case of interest https://online.fliphtml5.com/spifr/foea/#p=1

He has already played for Wales open age, at stand off, and I am confident he will be in their squad this autumn.
Who are Wales playing? Thanks.

Saints and Wigan should merge to form a super club.

North of the M62 v South of the M62? That would set pulses racing.

Three tests against Australia would be enough for me, I wouldn’t want to see SL shortened so England could play some tin pot matches that nobody over there or here cared about. Times have changed since that used to happen (eg I saw Sheffield Eagles v Australia around 1994 or 95, it would be crazy to do that now the game is so professional).

As I have been saying for ages the French produce the biggest % of good players at a reasonable level than anyone in terms of numbers.
Widnes (population circa 60k) probably has a better percentage per population.

Website says Craven Park https://hullkr.co.uk/team/womens-team/fixtures
Thanks for looking. I saw that too but I think (though not sure) there’s a smaller pitch just outside that they may use.

Hi, does anyone know if Hull KR ladies play their games at Craven Park, or elsewhere? Thanks.

I wonder if the Eng V FR match with be on Via Occitanie, as the TO v Fev match is on later....it's going to be camera crazy for a while!
It would seem a shame as I assume they would be using the same production company that they can't broadcast all matches on the same platform
It would be peak rugby league for the England v France warm up to TO v Feb clash not being televised while the latter is.

Anyway, back on subject matter, attendances.
From what I can find from this weekend
Catalans v Huddersfield 5,892
Bradford v Toulouse 2,720
Swinton v Sheffield 786
Rochdale v Newcastle 379
Keighley v North Wales 1,096
Barrow v Dewsbury 1,675
Midlands v Hunslet 302 (at Sheffield)
Oldham v Cornwall 1,136
That is absolutely terrible for Rochdale.

Impressive TV viewing figures for the CC games https://www.totalrl.com/bbc-viewing-figures-for-hull-kr-leigh-and-st-helens-warrington-revealed/

For the uninitiated, is Via Occitanie a FTA channel?

It would be good if the buzz around the club comes back, a strong Wire is good for the game.

Great win by the Giants one more
and they can look forward to playing at a half empty Wembley.
Or half full, depending how you look at it.

Saints crowd looks (and sounds) decent, not far off 10k.

I would imagine that Doncaster Knights get a bit of support from further afield as they are the highest placed Yorkshire team in the RFU structures. No Yorkshire team is in the Premiershship or National League 1, so the next highest placed sides are in National League 2 North, the fourth tier of English rugby union.
Yet they still only get about 1,000 in.

As a trinity fan and one who made the trip over to Doncaster I have to say it was a very welcoming atmosphere with very friendly and security/staff.
The pitch/stadium and view were good quality too.
If Doncaster over next few years can grow their fan base and progress on field they could become a top championship club with that tidy set up.
In terms of attendances at Trinity we are travelling well taking 12-1500+ to every game so far and that’s back to back away games. Think at fev second game we took almost 2000 fans away filling away end and a good wedge of another stand overspill.
Where were you when you were s**t

I tend to think Hull could and possibly should be as big as Leeds, Saints and Wigan - yet they get it wrong again and again.

I suppose so if they filled it with the all the NRL games, instead of the 114th viewing of each Grand Final that has been played.
I like to see some games from the old Lancs and Yorks cups, and the Regal Trophy etc.

Book mark this Eddie, it is refreshed with the next few weeks very often, all the games that are in TV.
Thanks Harry. I use that website myself, but my point was how well was the game advertised, so neutrals might know it was on and give it a watch.

Must admit I didn’t know the BBC had shown Saints v Catalans, not sure how well they advertised it.

It’s the same in the East mate, you can aim for whatever you like but the fact is outside of the Heartlands most of your players are Union players, so you can’t play in their season.
