Some pics from around Haworth. Any advice good or bad?

I have to say i am very pleased with it. Hullgal gave me some good advice. One thing i would like to know. I see people use black and white pics. Some of them really do look good, sort of setting the mood. Now is it possible to use some form of editing to achieve this, or is it down to the camera? If it is editing can anyone recommend a fairly cheap software to use?

It all adds to the atmosphere

First time using my new camera. Its a Panasonic TZ5. Thanks to Hullgal for recommending it to me. Took these at Cougar Park today. Waiting for the game to start. still waiting. Held up over the line. And held up again. You tell em Baz. Good times. Steady now. The world famous un-sponsored stick And thats how much it means. And the kicks a good one. And just to show he can tackle as well as score. And the good times roll again.... ...and they just keep on coming. Dont worry ref he is nowhere near the line. Told you. Good times again. That bloody bench must be uncomfortable And the crowd go wild at the finish of the game. Final score.
