a) All the supermarkets will be refusing to sell alcohol to any persons attending the event. Morrisons & Sainsburys have a cafe. Asda has a McDonalds.

We have a Borough Wide DPPO in place in Wigan & Leigh - this is to reduce alcohol related issues. This means any person found drinking alcohol on the street who continues to drink alcohol when asked not to do so by a Police Officer or refuses to surrender their alcohol, could be arrested and if convicted receive a maximum fine of £500.

c) Below is a list of the local pubs/clubs that will be open on Sunday.

WHISTLING WREN (next to LSV) - opens at 1130am. No TV. This is a family type pub serving food all day.

PARK INN HOTEL (next to LSV) - bar open to the public at 11am, bar food available.

LEIGH EAST SOCIAL CLUB (short distance fm LSV) - opens at 1030am.

ATHERLEIGH WAY (short walk away) - opens at 11am. No TV. This is a family type pub serving food all day.

LEIGH MINERS WELFARE (5 min walk fm LSV) - opens at 1130am. Games being shown on TV.

RAILWAY (5 min walk away fm LSV) - opens at 12 noon. No TV.

**TOWN CENTRE PUBS** (approx 10-15 min walk fm LSV)

SPINNING JENNY - opens at 11am. Games may be shown on TV. Bar type food available.

WATERSIDE - opens at 11am. No TV.

CENTURION - opens at 11am, showing games on TV.

GEORGE & DRAGON - opens at 12 noon. May show games on TV.

MUSKETEER - opens at 12 noon. No TV.

YATES - opens at 10am. May show games on TV. Bar food available

BOARS HEAD - opens 12 noon. May show games on TV

WHITE LION - opens 12 noon. May show games on TV

THOMAS BURKE - opens at 8am. No TV. Serves food all day.
