Coffee & cakes had great support today. Absolutely brilliant event . Over £500 better off already and still plenty homemade cakes to sell off. Thanks for generous donations of cakes & all those that attended.

Please if possible come on walk tomorrow. Get to club for 9.30 when bacon sandwiches available. Remember complimentary drink at Priestleys, the more that come the better and just try and get whatever sponsorship you can

If not come to the Club in the afternoon to watch the girls tournament or have a drink in the bar

Or come to Rons lounge for Pink Pig racing, party and disco starting 6pm till? Roast pork sandwiches available as well

Sponsored Walk completed and another fantastic event. Great atmosphere and superb effort by 60 or so that took part in a very enjoyable event. Big Thankyou to Priestleys Bar in Birstall for providing a most welcome refreshment for all walkers to spur them on to complete the walk. No idea how much raised until get monies in but donations from people who we past on way came to just over £200 which was a nice little boost.

Just getting ready to go to Club for Pink Pig Racing in Rons Lounge with party and music so come along have a few drinks, a roast pork Sandwich , great company and maybe a flutter. Starts at 6pm but just pop in anytime tonight as should be another enjoyable event.

Just had a weigh up where we are and everything looks promising for a very worthwhile weekend. Need to try to raise a bit today over and above what already pledged then will only know final sum when sponsor monies come in from Walk but this is a great achievement without a doubt
