Salford Red Devils certainly managed to catch a bit of attention when they landed the signing of NRL superstar Daniel Vidot late last year.
The international winger penned a deal to sign at the AJ Bell Stadium for 2016 after leaving the NRL at the end of last season, but it seems he may be set for an extended period on the sidelines.
Vidot posted on his Facebook page that he is set to miss “half the season” due to injury, which if true, would be a huge blow for the Red Devils as they look to start the 2016 season wth a bang.
“Been a tough period for me at this present time but every man has a storm in their lives, what makes a man is what he does when that storm comes. Half the season will be missed from me due to this injury, but when the time comes for me to chuck the boots back on, I’ll be ready ???. #surgerytime#recoveryroad#illbeback“
