In a Nutshell
Warriors star Glen Fisiiahi scored four tries and Sam Tomkins landed one try as the Warriors blew the Tigers off the park in Wellington
How it unfolded
The Tigers shot into an early 12-point lead with tries from Braith Anasta and James Tedesco, both converted by Pat Richards.
By this time the Warriors had lost unlucky Jerome Ropati with a broken jaw, but they then scored 26 unanswered points to take a grip on the game, taking a 14-12 lead into half-time and scoring two more tries early in the second half. Apart from Fisiiahi and Tomkins, the Warriors also scored tries through Shaun Johnson, Manu Vatuvei and Jayson Bukuya, while Robbie Farah scored the Tigers’ only second half try in front of a healthy crowd of 22,512 in New Zealand’s capital city.
