Slyney tied down by London Broncos

Nick Slyney has become the latest member of the London Broncos to sign up for next season, after the former Brisbane man penned a two-year contract with the club.

He becomes the fifth member of Joey Grima’s squad to sign up regardless of what happens to the Broncos in 2014, and he admitted he was delighted to commit his future to the club after a difficult season.

“I’m very pleased to have a two year contract,” said Nick Slyney. “It’s a bit of security for the future, more than that I want to try and help London get back to where they should be.

“I’ve loved it actually, I’ve really enjoyed playing football here even though the results haven’t been going our way.

“I’m really enjoying the club and Joey’s doing a great job, the boys are awesome and I couldn’t ask for a better bunch of lads.”
