Adam Swift will not be leaving Hull FC.
Intense speculation on social media has linked the former St Helens winger with a move away from the Black and Whites as new coach Brett Hodgson looks to shuffle his squad.
But League Express understands that Swift, whose first year with the club was disrupted through injury, is set to remain with Hull in 2021.
Hodgson is thought to be keen on bolstering his backline, with a desire to add speed to his ranks.
The departure of Ratu Naulago has left the club searching for reinforcement, but the club’s overseas quota spots are occupied, leaving them shopping domestically.
Few outside backs are currently on the market, with little movement in those positions across Super League.
Swift scored three tries in five games for the Black and Whites and is under contract for another season.
Meanwhile, former interim coach Andy Last is expected to join the Wakefield coaching staff following his departure from the club.
He is expected to become Chris Chester’s assistant coach.
