Salford’s acting head coach Ian Watson launched a scathing attack towards his team following their shock 41-10 crushing to Bradford Bulls.
The Red Devils became the first team to be defeated by Championship opponents in the Qualifiers, conceding seven tries in the process.
It was a setback for Salford following impressive victories over Wakefield and Leigh in recent weeks, and Watson was quick to criticise his team’s below-par performance.

“It’s completely embarrassing really, for everyone associated with the club,” he said.
“It’s an embarrassment for all of us because we expected better. They get a couple of wins and then fall in love with themselves and forget what’s got them there – hard work. Coming away to Bradford is always a tough challenge and we didn’t respond to it.”
