Westwood gives the thumbs up after surgery

Ben Westwood has undergone successful surgery today.

The England international was ruled out for over a month earlier this week to undergo surgery on an issue in his ankle. The issue surrounds a ‘floating bone’ in his ankle, which has been causing Westwood some discomfort.

Warrington posted on their Instagram account that the surgery had been a success and he was due to go home this afternoon.

Great to see Super @bennie_westwood is out of surgery after op on his ankle and ready to go home this afternoon!
