
Wigan Warriors reasserted their intentions for the year with an impressive 28-12 win over Castleford.
Oliver Gildart scored early in either half as the Warriors inflicted a third defeat of the season on Daryl Powell’s Tigers.
Gildart and Liam Farrell scored in the first-half, but Castleford cut the half-time arrears to two points as debutant Garry Lo and Oliver Holmes both scored.
But Wigan controlled the second-half and the secured the win as Gildart, Geroge Williams and Tony Clubb all raced over to secure an impressive victory for Shaun Wane’s side.
